Our Team

Comparatif24.fr is published by a team focused on consumer protection and information transparency. The team is organised around four thematic desks (energy, telecom, insurance, banking), each staffed with specialist editors who track the regulatory and pricing developments of their field on an ongoing basis.

The collective “The comparatif24.fr team” byline you read at the bottom of articles stands for this shared work: documentary research, native-language writing, cross-review by a second team member, then publication with traceable sources. For a detailed view of how this works, see our Editorial Team page and our methodology.

Our story

Comparatif24.fr launched in 2026 on a simple observation: French consumers pay several thousand euros every year for contracts they barely understand. Electricity, gas, mobile, internet, health insurance, car insurance, home insurance, home loans, savings accounts — each of these markets is regulated, complex, and constantly moving. Most general-public sites cover them from a commercial angle, with comparators tied to paid partners.

We wanted an alternative: an editorial site dedicated to explanation, built from official publications (French Consumer Code, Insurance Code, regulator decisions, public price schedules). The name “Comparatif24” reflects our ambition: to become, over time, an independent comparison reference available around the clock to help consumers decide with full information.

Who publishes Comparatif24.fr?

In accordance with French LCEN law n° 2004-575 of 21 June 2004, the publisher and publication director of the site are identified in our legal notice. The site is hosted by Amazon Web Services (Luxembourg) and operates under French law for content addressed to the French audience. The publisher takes final responsibility for all content published and remains reachable at info@comparatif24.fr.

Comparatif24.fr is written in three languages: French (primary, default), English, and Turkish. Each version is written natively, not auto-translated, so that French regulatory nuances are correctly conveyed to each audience.

Our concrete commitments

Our independence is not a slogan. It translates into operational rules we apply to every published article:

  • No affiliate commission is collected on the subscriptions discussed in our articles as of the date of this update. If this changes, we will disclose it explicitly on the relevant pages, in line with article L.111-7 of the French Consumer Code and decree n° 2024-753 of 5 July 2024.
  • No cited provider has a right to review article content. The order in which providers appear in our indicative tables is explicitly justified (rising price, alphabetical order, etc.).
  • No number is published without a source. Every tariff, rate, cap, or deadline cited is traced back to an official publication (Journal officiel, regulator decision, administration schedule) or to a named industry study.
  • Prices are systematically “indicative” and dated. The markets we cover move fast: electricity tariffs are revised twice a year, social schedules can change mid-year. We make that uncertainty visible to the reader.
  • Errors are corrected publicly. A report sent to info@comparatif24.fr is handled within seven working days and, where appropriate, results in a visible correction note on the page concerned.

What's next?

As our editorial coverage grows, we plan to progressively integrate concrete comparison tools: energy offer tables updated from public feeds, banking fee simulators based on the Banque de France standard schedule, insurance comparators relying on disclosed partnerships (for example with Selectra, once the integration is finalised).

Any integration of this kind will be disclosed transparently on the relevant page and in our list of commercial partnerships, in line with the French framework on pre-contractual information for comparison platforms. Our goal is not to add advertising noise to an already saturated market: it is to publish useful, verifiable information clearly separated from commercial offerings.
