Batch 1: four English guides (changing electricity provider, Livret A, off-peak and peak hours, Tempo option) were re-checked sentence by sentence against their official sources and now show 'Verified on October 7, 2026'. The LEP rate is now published: 2.50% from 1 August 2026 to 31 January 2027 (order of 29 July 2026, Légifrance). Corrections: the minimum age of the home for MaPrimeRénov' with an air-to-water or geothermal heat pump (2 years in mainland France, not 15), the exceptions to joint liability in article 220 of the Civil Code for joint accounts, and returning to the regulated electricity tariff (except tariffs being phased out). English guides that were shortened during verification no longer call themselves 'complete' in their titles. The heat pump guide still awaits full re-checking: the definition of COP has not yet been confirmed by an official source. The cancellation letter generator now states which fields are required.
Guide verification: 35 guides (14 in French, 21 in English) were fully re-checked and now show 'Verified on October 6, 2026' with dated official sources. Five English guides were corrected (Livret A rate, the EDF Tarif Bleu grid applicable from 1 August 2026, figures without an official source removed) and will be fully re-checked in the next batches. New free tool: an insurance cancellation letter generator (Hamon law, Chatel law, annual renewal) based on articles L113-12, L113-15-1 and L113-15-2 of the French Insurance Code.
The Turkish section is closed and redirected to the English home page. 60 guides with little verified value and 22 unpublished drafts were withdrawn. The site now publishes 14 French guides and 26 English guides, to be re-verified in batches. A free insurance cancellation letter tool is planned, only after its legal basis is verified.
Trust pages rewritten: a single named publisher, how the content is produced, the AdSense application disclosure and the correction policy. Consent rebuilt: Google Analytics now starts with all consent signals denied (Consent Mode v2), Google Tag Manager is removed, consent for ads and analytics is collected through Google's consent message (IAB TCF) managed in AdSense, and a "Manage cookies" link appears in the footer. Homepage and topic hubs: unsourced figures and month-stamped figures removed, publisher byline on the guides.
